I love how versatile my position is. I currently run the OR side of things while also helping out in the clinic. I work side-by-side with Dr. Oppenheimer every day which allows for great collaboration in patient care.

Dr. Oppenheimer is the most down-to-earth, humble plastic surgeon I have ever met. He also has so many hidden talents! He is quite impressive.

I’ve been a medical assistant for over a decade before becoming an RN and currently am working on my bachelor's degree in nursing while working full-time!

Although I seem outgoing, I am quite introverted.

My husband and I are probably the ONLY Floridians to ever seriously consider moving to downtown Chicago... in the middle of winter! Luckily, life kept us in the sunshine state.

Many years ago (before the internet) I was a plastics patient, but working as a cardiac nurse. I discovered that there was little to no after-surgery patient care training, so I suggested that to the surgeon and he brought me onto his team.

Being a part of making people's dreams come true.

Each patient has their own story, and they place their trust in us to realize their individual goals.

I love my one-on-one time with the patients, and teaching them about their procedure and care, as well as making their recovery as comfortable as possible.

I have been with Dr. Oppenheimer since he began practicing, and I love his passion, excitement, and care for each patient. And that he's never lost that drive!

Our patients are some of the most enjoyable women with whom I have had the pleasure to interact. They come from all walks of life, yet all have similar things in common. Their courage and willingness to do what makes them happy despite the stigma that can be associated with plastic surgery is inspirational.

I love that I am able to bring a sense of peace and comfort to patients as they are preparing to undergo anesthesia. I also love to educate patients on the anesthetic they are receiving, and I believe by doing this, it eases their fears.

I am pretty sure this has been mentioned by everyone, but Dr. Oppenheimer is genuinely a nice person. It is evident he cares about his patients, as I have seen him work diligently to ensure each and every patient is happy with their outcome. Most importantly, I admire that he respects and cares about his team and creates an enjoyable and pleasant work environment.

After working in many specialties in the OR, I realized plastic surgery is where I wanted to stay. Our patients are healthy, motivated individuals who just need a little boost to become their best selves! And I love that I get to be a part of that!

Boy, that’s easy, I love surgery! I love our OR; we have the best team who are all there every day for the same reason—providing the very best care for our patients!

His endless pursuit and application of knowledge and technique in surgery. He takes his responsibility for doing the best for his patients very seriously, but is also able to keep the mood in the OR fun! We speak in movie quotes and song lyrics most of the day.

I'd be a shapeshifter with power mimicry, obviously.

Initially I worked as an aesthetician with the sole purpose of helping my patients to love their skin. However, as I delved deeper into the field, I began to understand the transformative power of plastic surgery. I love to see the positive impact it has on our patients' confidence!

My position requires a great deal of sensitivity and compassion, especially when discussing patients' personal goals and needs. Encouraging patients to open up and building a friendly rapport can be a challenge, but seeing their smiles after surgery and witnessing their newfound happiness and confidence is truly rewarding.

First, what’s not to love about Dr. Oppenheimer? He is the sweetest, most down-to-earth person and the nicest doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He always finds time to say hello and never forgets the importance of human interactions. The little things truly do matter.

Most of the hardships we encounter come from the inside. Our own negative thoughts and emotions. So we all have a choice as to what type of energy we accept and which thoughts we choose to follow. Choose confidence!

My grandfather was a plastic surgeon in post World War II America. He helped the so-called “Hiroshima Maidens” who were injured in the horrific acts of the war. He also helped sew my tongue back together when I was a kid! I chose to follow in his footsteps and in those of my uncle, who is a plastic surgeon in Buffalo, NY.

I’m in it for the trust. When someone trusts me to do my best, I know I can do my best! It is the greatest honor of my life to have the trust of moms and young women who want my help. I always say: you provide the trust, I provide the care.

Moms not models is a bit of a mantra around here. Helping the “regular” mom is anything but regular. These are women who have given everything, including their bodies, to make a family. Again, a great honor of my life to help these women get their bodies back, and get their confidence back with plastic surgery.

I love that I’m just another member of the team. I often think of my team with a sports analogy, where we pass the ball to each other. I might be getting all of the glory by doing the final touches, but really if you look from the inside, we are a cohesive team that loves to help one another get the best results for our patients.

I played varsity lacrosse at Yale.

I can sing, too. I was in the Whiffenpoofs of Yale, which is the oldest college a cappella group.

I would say humility, but the above two questions wouldn’t seem so....
