I recorded this song on December 18, 2022 in order to spread good cheer and to raise awareness for Operation Smile. Every year, Operation Smile provides safe cleft lip & palate surgery to thousands of children in underserved communities across the globe.
When I was in medical school I had the good fortune to go on a medical mission trip to China with Operation Smile. There, we helped dozens of children to regain their health and dignity through cleft lip & palate surgery. Thank you so much for your kindness and for spreading good vibes this holiday season! The only way forward in this life is through empathy: through the shared feelings of another.
