Patient Selection and Consultation Policy
Oppenheimer Plastic Surgery is a highly specialized elective cosmetic surgery practice. To maintain the highest standards of patient safety and surgical outcomes, the practice limits consultations to individuals who appear likely to meet the practice’s medical, anesthetic, and surgical candidacy criteria.
Prospective patients may be screened prior to scheduling a consultation. Information considered may include medical history, current health conditions, medications, prior surgical history, body mass index, lifestyle factors, and other considerations relevant to elective cosmetic surgery.
Because cosmetic surgery is elective, not all individuals seeking consultation or treatment will be accepted as candidates. The practice reserves the right to decline consultation, treatment, or surgery whenever, in the surgeon’s professional judgment, a prospective patient falls outside the practice’s safety standards, risk parameters, scope of services, or expected outcome criteria.
Oppenheimer Plastic Surgery is committed to providing equal access to its services in accordance with applicable law. Requests for consultation and treatment are evaluated based on the practice’s medical and surgical criteria, the services offered by the practice, and the surgeon’s independent professional judgment regarding patient safety and suitability for elective cosmetic surgery.
The surgeon retains sole professional discretion regarding consultation, treatment, and surgical candidacy decisions.
