Inverted Nipple Correction
Inverted nipples can be a source of self-consciousness for a woman in clothing or at times of intimacy. An inverted nipple correction can release the ducts that tether the nipple, allowing for normal projection and a more natural anatomic appearance. There are two main options for inverted nipple correction: nipple piercings (which may be permanently required) or surgery.
In younger women who may not want to risk injury to the milk ducts, nipple piercings may be an option. This requires the piercing to remain in place, but preserves the ducts for breastfeeding. This procedure can be done in the office without anesthesia in a small, sterile procedure.
Whatever your goals are for the shape and size of your nipples, Dr. Oppenheimer is ready to listen and ready to help!
